Unglued

Unglued, released in August 1998, was Magic: The Gathering’s first Un-set, introducing silver-bordered cards that embraced humor, satire, and rule-breaking gameplay. Filled with quirky mechanics like clucking like a chicken or playing with cards outside the game, Unglued was designed purely for fun and casual play. The set is known for its offbeat card names, hilarious effects, and the introduction of full-art basic lands, which became highly collectible. Though not legal in sanctioned formats, Unglued became a cult favorite for its creativity and its celebration of Magic’s sillier side.
